I wanted to go somewhere to relax mid travels so I booked us to stay at a spa resort out in the jungle. It had natural mineral hot springs running throughout the resort. When we arrived it was drizzling and getting dark, perfect timing for a dip.
After we had our relaxing dip, we dried off and went and got some dinner. Was the yummiest food ever – I really wanted to try the snake head but Jaz was to chicken shit 😛
We had an early night as we were so tired, luckily we did go to bed early as we were awoken at 5am by this Chinese bootcamp blowing up some ball with an air compressor, by 6am they had bangers pumping. Argh how annoying for a spa resort! We went and got breakfast and then went on a bike ride.
We got a taxi into Hue city and had a look around before stopping of at Mr.Pho and having some lunch and some drinks. This place is a must if you’re visiting Hue, as he has locker storage, food, tours etc. We booked our car transfer to Hoi An and I’m so glad we did because the guy we got (his friend) was amazing and took us to so many beautiful places along the way.
Today was the day I drank way too many beers, I can’t even think of how many beers we drank. It was such a fun day and will forever be a favourite! We stopped off at an abandon waterpark and some old forts.
